Ethereality Series

* I’m combining my self portraits with my words because naturally all of it is an extension of me.

Most of my book, Wet Sand in an Hourglass, was a case study on what being a girl looks and feels like. I spoke a lot about various incidents that were key to my growth, and reflected on the moments that defined me.

Lately, I’ve been writing articles that examine a lot of the same themes, but minus the confessional part. Here are some essays I’ve written that include art analysis (I talk about Sad Girl Theory by Audrey Wollen and Radical Softness by lora-mathis), a working definition of intimacy, and a deconstruction of what it means to be a person and see yourself plainly.
